The scientific scope covers a broad range of interdisciplinary fields, including:
Materials science and nanotechnology – design of advanced organic, inorganic, and hybrid electrode materials.
Electrochemistry and solid-state physics – understanding ion/electron transport and interfacial processes.
Energy and chemical engineering – scaling up laboratory innovations towards practical devices.
Safety engineering and policy aspects – ensuring reliable operation and exploring the socio-economic impact of new battery chemistries.
Poland-France Partnership
The partnership between Adam Mickiewicz University and the University of Strasbourg has a long-standing tradition and forms the foundation for joint scientific, educational, and organizational activities. A key role in this collaboration is played by the cooperation between the Center for Advanced Technologies (CAT) and the Institute of Supramolecular Science and Engineering (I.S.I.S.).
Both institutions share a common mission of advancing modern technologies in the fields of chemistry, nanomaterials, and future energy systems. The partnership encompasses:
- joint research projects funded by national and European agencies,
- exchange of PhD students and early-career researchers,
- organization of scientific seminars and conferences,
- publications and initiatives fostering interdisciplinary research.
This collaboration stands as an excellent example of Polish–French synergy, combining expertise, experience, and a passion for science.
